Nepal Hope, a public charity, was established by Sam and Lynne Topham in 2005 after doing humanitarian work for LDS Charities in Nepal for 2 ½ years. During this time they worked with local NGO’s and the Nepal government on many different projects: Clean water, Educational, Libraries, Wheel Chair Distributions, Biomedical Engineering Issues. Having made many Nepli friends and recognizing the extreme needs of the Nepali people, they have returned for 3 to 5 months a year since 2005 to continue to help and work with the Nepali people. Nepal Hope’s purpose is to reduce the Burden of Poverty and Illiteracy for the people of Nepal through Water, Education and Community Development Projects.
The organizers and officers of the organization serve without any compensation or expense reimbursement. Nepal Hope has little overhead and over 90% of all contributions go directly to the projects.
All contributions to Nepal Hope are tax deductible.
